Jordan was born in Toronto, Canada on May 20, 1984. He was often shy and quiet, which allowed him to explore the concepts and designs of modern technologies, such as a home computer. It was in the summer of 2002, with the purchase of his first video camcorder, that Jordan took this technological approach and understanding of technology and applied his own artistic voice.
In 2004, Jordan began attending Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada in a Bachelor's program, studying the art of film, filmmakers in history and the moving images they create.
Shortly after graduating in 2008, Jordan moved out to western Canada where he attended the one year film production program at Vancouver Film School. Jordan not only took the opportunity to finesse his skills behind new cameras and new technologies, but work as Director of Photography, Director, Audio Director and Editor on numerous Drama films and Documentaries.
In 2009, Jordan completed the program at Vancouver Film School and immediately got work as a Camera Trainee on several made for TV Movies, such as Sins Of The Mother (2010) and Behemoth (2010). He continues to expand his skills in cinematography as well as editing and visual compositing, while making short and feature length films with his classmates in Vancouver.
